OCTOBER MENU

Today marks the Autumn equinox, the beginning of Autumn and the festival of Mabon which runs from 21st-24th September and is the second of three harvest festivals. One of the symbols of Mabon is the Apple and anything made from apples including cider, apple juice and apple butter. Our October menu reflects the season as we celebrate the harvesting of apples from now through October.

Village weekend in October is 4th and 5th and all in the surrounding area ( 12 miles radius ) are welcome to join us for special village night prices which start at £20.00.

NEWS

We had a wonderful time at the Taste of The West Awards this year and although we didn't win Best Restaurant, we were jolly proud to have been in the last 10, out of 400 establishments in all the West Country counties and to be warded our 3rd Gold award.

Yesterday, Trip Advisor published its top restaurants in Devon and we are delighted to once again be in the top 500 (out of 3032) We're also No.1 place to eat in Witheridge, No.6 in Tiverton and the 7th on the list of 35 French Restaurants across the county. So lots to celebrate !

WORLD ON A PLATE

We're concluding our World On A Plate series with India on A Plate on October 18th/19th lots of favourites including Dhal, Dhansak, Madras and creamy butter chicken. There's a selection of starters served with handmade mango chutney and lime pickle and another outing for our homemade Kulfi.

(18th/19th October)

We look forward to welcoming you this Autumn !
